And I thought this was one of those things that only happened to other people... I'm using FCP HD on 10.3.5.
I've had media files vanish from the disk (not just the project, the actual file) when I quit FCP HD. *poof*, no more file. The project seems fine, but the file itself is gone. Of course, I can (with some pain) recapture the file, but this is very disturbing. The HD otherwise seems fine; it really does look like FCP is deleting the media file.
I read a few other people encountering this situation. Has anyone come up with a fix/workaround for it?
