disappearing filters

For some reason my filters in FCP disappeared from the filter list. They are still in the library/application support/FCP support. But I can't get them back in the effects/filter list in FCP.
What to do?

Sounds like you have a preferences conflict and need to remove them and start over... no big deal... use this:

cool. I did it and start FCP again but no filters. They are still in the FCP support but does not appear in the Filter list when starting up FCP. Really strange!
What do I wrong here

is it just the effects tab that you dont see anymore or just the filters??

If its just the effects tab do : apple 5 and it will show up again

when I go to the upper tab: effects and go to filters I only see the filters that come with FCP from factory. Not alll the filters I bought.

And they are not appearing indeed when you you press apple 5
