Disabling audio analysis?

I've unchecked "analyze and fix audio problems" in the import dialogue, but every time I go to use the loudness enhancement the computer will sit and run through the audio, then change my loudness settings based on magic. I want it to stop doing this - I have a project that I always shoot in the same locations using the same gear and same settings every month and I don't want FCPX wasting time trying to determine the best-fit settings since I've already figured out what works best. Is there a way to disable this behavior completely?

OK, you want FCP to use the Loudness Enhancement "analyzation function" without actually analyzing the audio to "enhance loudness" physically and automatically? Really? Did you notice next to the Audio Enhancement button it said "not analyzed"? OK, let's step back and think about this logically.

I'm sorry, but that process does in fact requires analyzing, period. It's not a simple filter.

If you shoot the same thing all the time, get your audio recording on set down right. I come to video from audio, I'm an audio specialist, and I NEVER let a shot get recorded on set unless it's done right.

That said, I am an audio guy with years of recording studio experience. On-set is not always a perfect world. But you have to know your equipment like a pro before using it.

Let me ask you this; WHY are you using the Loudness enhancement? Cause that should be rarely needed every blue moon. I suspect we can help you correct whatever that issue is before you even bet back to the studio.

So give us some details, man. We'll knock this out.
