DISABLED EXPEDITION TO EVEREST BASE CAMP IN NEPAL
GORAK SHEP, NEPAL (June 12, 2003) – While sitting in a smoke filled teahouse at an altitude of nearly 17,000 feet, documentary filmmakers Andy Cockrum and Reid Nixon meticulously clean two Panasonic AG-DVX100 Mini-DV 3-CCD camcorders. After a nearly month-long journey documenting a group of disabled trekkers, the filmmakers can now rest and reflect on this trip and the stunning images they captured on their way to Everest Base Camp.
