What does 'smart resample' and 'disable resample' does?
When I slow down footage a bit, there will be blended ghost frames, but when I switch it to disable resample, all ghost frames disappears and it looks more progressive again...
If you disable resample, it will not blend any frames; it will either drop or copy frames to adjust to the new running length/speed. This can result in choppiness.
What's probably your issue, though, is not the resample setting, but the deinterlace method. It sounds like you have it set to "blend fields" instead of "interpolate fields," and you want the latter. Check in your project properties.
Thanks,
Yes it was on 'blend fields' option.. Im working on 25p footage, never thought that deinterlace options will effect when footage is progressive..
I tried switching blend fields to interpolate fields and didnt have same effect as 'disable resample' have.. both 'interpolate fields' and 'none' did some ghost frames..
But yeah, theres no problem because 'disable resample' works great.. just informed of results
