Disable auto envelope/fade on audio split?

Is there any way to disable the small envelope/fade that occurs on the audio track when you split a clip?

You can disable it by unchecking the "Quickfade Audio Edits" under "Options." Although, I wouldn't think you would want to disable it completely as cutting audio on anything but a zero-crossing will cause clicks. Optionally, you can shorten the quick-fade length from 10ms down to 1ms in preferences.

thank you for your help. i'm using it in somewhat of an experiment and the clicks are actually desirable. i was just tired of having to go through all the small cuts to take out the fades. thanks again!
