Does anyone know how the commercials on the Discovery Cheannel for the Show Dirty Jobs with Mike Rowe are done? I'm supposing they are using AE? Is this correct?
 
its a bunch of splatter layers in 3d space in after effects or shake or combustion etc

i dont know maybe just stacking a bunch of layers. ive seen this show and it looks like they use sony fx1 hd cams most of the time.
 
My good friend Stu Chudy at www.opticsugar.com produced that effect. I know he uses a variety of software but I belive these were done with after effects and actual green goop he made up and threw at a piece of glass. No video libraries were used.
