So I was testing out my studio lights (which I just repaired last night) with my new camera, and it had to have had the dirtiest sensor ever. I bought the camera used from a professional that worked for a newspaper. I expected it to be a little used and abused, but everything I saw externally was in remarkably good condition. Then I took these photos. I don't even know how the dude was able to publish anything taken with that camera.
Good news is I busted out the ol' air bulb and all the dust blew away with no problems. Here is a picture of my wife, patiently sitting through all my test. This one she even smiled for me! See if you can see her through all that dust!
Also, the picture below Vicki of one of my dogs was taken with at 112mm, f/4.8, ISO 100, @ 1/4 of a second!. Don't get me wrong, plenty taken that slow are still blurred...but that still impressed me! (Note: it was taken through my glass door that they slobber on all the time and it was also pre-dust cleaning, so it looks a little softer than I would like. But you can still get the point.)
