hi guys am new around here...and was hoping to get advice from you guys
i'm going to be shooting an outdoor party scene at night with very minimum dialogue. the main character probably talks twice but only to herself so its basically a monologue.
so I want to open the scene with an establishing shot then cut to the people dancing, talking, from different angles.
then i come to my main character entering with her friend...but her friend has a date.....thus the main character is left alone...looking around at other couples and feeling sad. so thats part of it.
so i was hoping id get advice on the lighting, and how to arrange the shooting. keep in mind that that's a uni project...so all actors are probably friends.
but i have access to professional equipment...even dolly tracks.
and how should i introduce the music in the party, in the editing, right?
thanks in advance guys!
