In the bottom picture, you will see a Diploma in the background on the wall.

It looks kind of fake, don't you think? I made that diploma in photoshop, and then imported it as a .png file into FCP.

What can I do in either photoshop, or FCP to make it look more realistic, and make it look like it's on the wall?

Doesn't look too bad to me. Try adding some blur to it so you can make out any of the words.

I think I did it. Added some shadows, I totally forgot about shadows.

yeah that's much better i think. i looks more realistic and doesn't stick out too much, nice job on that!

Yeah, looks good. Maybe tweak the perspective slightly 'cause it doesn't look like the camera is shooting perfectly perpendicular to the wall.

Try lowering the opacity by a tad. That should help.

Well, the diploma is lowered to like 70 percent.

I'll try it and see what happens with the Plaque.

For fixing the perspective try using the Vanishing Point filter in PS. The filing cabinet provides a good starting point for setting up the grid.
