Dimly lit apartment in the city.

I've been looking this morning and still am looking. Trying to find a scene of a interior shot of a apartment (low end apartment) at night in the city. Want to see what lights come through the window and what the scene feels like. I'm shooting a rural apartment that needs to look like its downtown.

Thanks

It is sort of funny how specific questions leave one with 'no answers'... I'm sure I've seen many city apartment scenes... can't think of a specific movie...

But in general, for me the 'feel' of the light in a 'dark' apartment, would be street lighting from below, so the light would come up through the windows towards the ceiling.

A shot that includes the windows, would show 'other windows' some dark, some lit, etc.

I did watch "The Watcher"(2000) the other night, and for the life of me, I can't recall if there was a night apartment scene... there were night scenes, and the lighting did come through the
windows, but I wasn't particularly watching for lighting elements like this. I was looking more at framing and placement of the actors...

Personally my quintessential 'city scape' image would be this, and meditating on the 'lighting' required may help... not an apartment, at street level... but
may help as to how things would look several stories up...

This one looks a bit more like daytime in an apartment...
