I am trying to put all my multimedia in to a biiiiig hard disck with minimum sacrifice in quality. (and burn the originals... only joking... Am I ?)
I would like to hear opinions on optimal digital formats.
Scanned Photos, slides, negatives : Jpeg 600dpi
(I have already finished that. It took me 15 days !)
DVD : ISO
CD : WAV
BOOKS : ?
This is a tough one. I would go with pdf but for reading them with an e-reader only iRex's iLiad seems to work. (by the way this is currently the only proper sized e-reader for my taste)
Any sugestions on how the hell can I scan the 1000+ books of my library ?
