Digital SLR w/ Nikon Lenses

I purchased the RedRock Micro M2 adapter and a set of Nikon Lenses.

Needless to say, the lenses were expensive. So I was wondering if anyone has bought a Digital SLR camera to use their Nikon Lenses with?

Which camera would be best suited to use Manual Nikon Lenses while still being Digital?

Thanks.

Siniarch,

We do have Nikon D70s' and a new D80. Even thow we used them for still commercial photography with their DX counterparts, I do also have a Zeiss ZF 50mm that I use with both cameras with no problem so far... Obviously you won't have the AF and metering funtions from the cameras but you can manual focus and be more creative with manual exposures... even with Nikon speedlights.
You might be able to use your Nikon AIs' even with the new D40.

Hope this helps.

Henry:)
