Digital slate board

I was wondering if anyone was using the digital slate board? Where can I pick one up at a good price? Thanks

They come up for sale on eBay for a decent price.
We have been using an iPad for slating for the last year.

Unless you're jamming timecode to at least the audio recorder, or from the recorder to the slate , and preferably the camera as well, digital slates are not worth the extra money. If you're audio recorder doesn't record timecode, you're better off with a good old fashioned clapper slate.

And there's a free slate app for android, BTW.
