i need a small digi cam. NOTHING PROFESSIONAL, but nothing CHEAP. :) just something i can take to parties and play with, and other bs like that. im looking to spend around $150 at the most. any suggestions?

I use a Fuji Finepix S602Zoom. I picked mine up on ebay for $250... higher than your stated price range, but even though it isn't "professional" the results are far from "cheap." I've done all of my DVD cover art, posters (18"x24"), sell sheets, and other promotional materials with photos from that camera (shooting in an uncompressed 6 megapixel interpolated mode). I used it on-set for over 4,000 behind the scenes stills. It was passed around from crew member to crew member and easy enough to use that it gave me great results regardless of the experience each person had with using a camera. The camera is no longer manufactured, but was in the $600 range about 2 years ago. Fuji authorized refurbs pop up on ebay regularly.

Anyhoo... my 2 cents.
 
I was gonna suggest Sony DCR-W17(W7), but then you went on and said 150$... doesn't really go with wanting "nothing CHEAP" :undecided
