I work for a smaller org that is starting to make a lot of videos and higher end productions.
I am looking for some type of database software to catalog clips that we digitize from old VHS tapes, capture from our Canon camera, and archive finished clips from FCP.
In theory, we would like to have multiple tags and keywords to help us find files when we need to pull them up (i.e. date, state, name of video, etc).
I was looking at Filemaker Pro, but I was wondering if anyone else had experience in this type of thing. Edit: I also heard about CatDV, but I really want to know what the pros use for this kind of thing.
