digibeta camera rental?

[Jay Rodriguez]

Hey guys, where do u think I can rent a digibeta camera from in the NY/N area?

Also, what would be a decent digibeta camera to rent? Is the HVX one?

lol, I don't even know wtf digibeta is! so sad.

The HVX is not Digibeta. In the Jacksonville area, Digibeta cams rent for $400-$500 a day, but the renter has to know the person renting. Otherwise, they come with a camera op for $900/day.

Digibeta is Sony's Digital 422 format i think. dvcpro50 is the panasonic answer though i think digi beta is a touch less compressed.
