I need to restock the diffusion "gels" for a couple of travel light kits. The kits are Lowel, but I also use the gels on rented lights, such as the 1K fresnels I use for stage lighting on larger productions--conferences, webcasts, etc.
I have checked the Rosco and Lee sites, as well as Bogen and Lowel, and am not finding the transmission data I need. Typically, I need to cut incrementally in 1/2 stops or thereabouts, while reducing the glare for the person at the podium when, for example, a hotel ballroom's ceilings are not high enough and the room lighting not flexible enough for optimal balance, i.e., bright enough to reduce the apparent glare from my lights for the speaker, but not fully up.
Therefore, I prefer white diffusion to the clear "frosted" diffusers. I'd be grateful for an info site or specific product recommendations, including any "variety packs" such a Bogen once offered.
Much obliged.
