diffusion for my on-camera light

I have a 100-watt on-camera light (Bescor 635) and want to clip a some diffusion filter on the barndoors, but don't have a clue where to start. I need to tone-down the intensity of the light, soften the shadows, etc., and figured I could bulldog some diffusion on the barndoors. Can anyone suggest some diffusion options? Anyone had luck with Rosco products?

Thanks,
Justin

Re: diffusion for my on-camera light

Some Lee 216 Full White Diffusion (1.5 stops) would be a good start.  Rosco also makes an equivalent to the 216.  Any lighting or theatrical store would carry it. For slightly less diffusion, there's Lee 416 (1 stop).
