Diffusion Filters in Europe?

[dmitrizigany]

Hey!

I'm looking to get some diffusion filters... But I cannot find a single store in Europe that seem to carry the Tiffen or Schneider screw-ons (not 4x4") in stock or even have them on their webpage so you can can idea of what they even cost to begin with! There's a few on eBay from sellers but they are either the wrong diameter or wrong kind.

Anyone know of any dealers that carry these filters? Or are there other brands that are more common here???

As a side question: Has anyone used the Tiffen DFX plug-ins? Any good?

They're definitely in stock in ProKit and Wex in the UK. Plus, you can probably order from Amazon if you can't find a dealer in Germany.

Thanks, but like I said, nobody lists the filters in their webshops... Most of them don't even show them, none have prices.

ProKit only lists some but mostly 4x5 or so... We'd have some of the filters...
Amazon, only a few, not all variations...

It's just impossible to find a dealer that lists the full series with prices etc...

Sure, I can probably ask a dealer to order for me, but I'm just surprised. Thought this was a bit of standard gear... And since I'm not exactly rolling in money I like to be able to compare prices (without having to email dealers and ask preferably).

Did you email or call them?

I'm sure they would be helpful.
