Hey guys I had a question about how to write scene titles for streets. How would you differ the types of streets or can you just use the general EXT. STREET - NIGHT?

I have different locations in this script that all take place on a different part of a street, how do i do this for scene titles.

street names

street names

I may be stating the obvious but has every street got a name. If it was me I would just use different street names like.

EXT. HILKIRK STREET RESIDENCE, BACK GARDEN - DAY

EXT. ALBION STREET RESIDENCE, MUM'S CAR - DAY

Especially if you are showing your script to industry people or investors, avoid things like just numbering streets or characters (street #2; policeman #3...). If you take a little extra time to name them and show specific details - even more important if the story takes place in an actual city - the reader will see you took the time to create your world on paper. In addition, if they are a studio person who has to fund the thing, or an actor who has to portray a 3 dimensional character, in it, giving them detail helps them see it as you do.

I would keep it purely to EXT. STREET. Think about it in the context of the audience. The reader needs to know no more than the audience would. I doubt you're going to have a close-up of the street sign. If it's important that the audience know the general location of the street, that needs to be set up with the context of previous scenes, and the actions of the current scene and the scene after that.
