different saturation levels in different applications

I don't understand why my saturation levels look so different in different applications, even on the same computer. Can't begin to imagine how different they might look between computers...

Take the following png files as an example... the saturation in the skin tones varies from perfect to totally orangey, depending on the application used to open the image or the computer being used.

Can anyone offer some tips as to how to get uniformity for screen grabs (particularly between applications on the same computer)?

If you're on a PC, some graphics card drivers allow you to do a "color manage" for overlay video, making your effects appear much different than what you're actually writing to the file.

Also adobe products can use an ICM, Make sure your color management is set up properly in each application if it allows for it.

That or your video playback looks much different, because of the same said conversion happening.

Always test on different mediums, TVs, players, comptuers before publishing if you have time.
