Like a REAL beginner I want to know the differents final results of lights setups in interviews using 3 lights. I think if the people that has good experience in this area show to us different frames of his (her) shots, explaining in a +/- detailed form how they illuminated the person in each shot, and what equipment was use, it can be very useful for learning in an accelerated way....

thanks

Get the DVD "How to setup, light, and shoot great looking interviews" by Vortex media (www.vortexMedia.com) All the basics, and equipment list. Enough to get you thinking like pro when you set up your interviews.

You might want to use the search engine on this site to look up your question as well. I believe this same question is asked almost once a week.
Type in "lighting an interview". I bet you find several examples.. Good luck.

Thanks for the info. In any case could be very educative for the newies if we have in this forum some like a gallery with diferent setup styles with detailed info about, created for the members of this forum that consider they reached interestings images in his or her works.

Hey man, congrats. the lighting is great..................do you have anymore grabs that you can post. If so, i would really like to see them. Thanks man.

Yes....looks very nice....did you use gel or some like that?...A what aperture you worked.... 4 or 5.6?

Hi McGee:

Lighting on the man looks very nice. My only suggestion would have been to light up the bookcase behind him (screen left) a bit, would have added a little more depth and interest to the shot.

Nice work!

I absolutely would have lit the bookcase behind him, but it was a fake door painted to look like a book case, and when I lit it it had an ugly sheen and it became obviously fake.

Thanks!

No gel, just some frost on the back light. Aperture was f4.0

Thanks
