Different Kinds of BNC

Hi guys, I am directing videography of a live event. I have been asked what kind of cable to get for projection. They asked if I wand BNC1, BNC3, or BNC5. Not much luck doing research. Does the number refer to the number of cables grouped into the cord, or does it refer to bandwidth? Thanks

I've never heard them referred to this way, but my guess is that they mean the number of cables: 1 for composite, 3 for component, or 5 for RGBHV (computer).
