Different DV Tape

I have footage on a Sony DV tape and was wondering if I could use my DVX to transfer the footage onto my computer?

It's generally bad to put a Sony tape (wet lube) into your camera if you've been using Panasonic (dry lube) tapes unless you clean the heads before and after. It's best to avoid it entirely if you can.

To answer your question, YES. You can. But Horse is right, why you'd want to is beyond me.
