Difference between Tekkeon 3450 and 3700?

Anyone know the difference between the Tekkeon 3450 and the 3700 batteries? Other than the 19VDC / 20VDC max voltage?
 
I've heard that the 3700 autodetects the voltage requirement of the device it is hooked up to. Say your field monitor requires 12V to operate - you wouldn't need to manually select a 12V output from the Tekkeon - it would automatically do it.
