I think I overheard or read something somewhere but I'm not sure, all I know is that the G3 are very popular, not sure about the G2. Are the two technically identical or has the sound improved much on the G3s?
The greatest difference between the G2 and the G3 the that the G3 now incorporates the diversity reciever. One receiver uses the conventional flex antenna and the other receiver uses the cable on the output as the second antenna. The metering display is also a little different. I prefer the metering of the G2 but I like the idea of diversity receivers. I currently have two G3 systems in my bag.
