Difference between lighting w/ two 1Ks vs. one 2K

I rarely carry around my Mole 2K since it's hard to find a circuit that has 2000w of power free on it...(plus it's really big and bulky). Instead, I bring around two 1Ks and try to run them to different circuits when possible. I was curious if anyone knew if there is a difference in lumens when using two 1Ks vs one 2K. And does it continue up...(i.e. is five 1Ks the equivalent of a 5K)?

BTW, I'm referring to shooting either through a silk or bounced off of a solid.

Tony, the total lumens should still be equal to a 2k but be aware that if you are not bouncing these sources that you may experience a double shadow.
