PPro novice. Can someone tell me what the difference is between grouping and linking items in the timeline?
Can't seem to find the answer via google.
You LINK a video clip to an audio clip, either its own original audio or another one. When either is then trimmed or moved they both are, like usual. You can GROUP any number of audio and/or video clips together so that they are locked and act as one clip when you move them around the timeline. There can be gaps in between any clips in a group, but note that you can only trim the beginning and end of a group of shots, not anything in the middle without first doing an Ungroup.
