Why do we love the crazies?

Two things tell me that this is a fake. One, she is WAY too hot for him. Two, when she picks up the XBOX, it's already unplugged.

PS On a semi-side note, why is it that when you go to websites to see funky photos or videos like The Superficial or Perez Hilton they are always saying, "after the jump", as in "be sure to watch the video after the jump"?:undecided

I noticed that too. Nice try though

Of course it's fake. The URL at the end of the video is a dead giveaway.

I hate these kind of viral videos. Because, when something real actually comes along, everyone will yell FAKE even though it's not.

The first thing that should tell ANYBODY who's ever shot a second of video when something is fake... the whole shot is STAGED. Everything in the shot maintains the rule of thirds all the way through the tirade.

Oh yeah... and the guy doesn't react to anything up to the snapping point. Dopey just sits there calmly kicking her ass at a game that no chick would care about in the first place.

I don't mind that these fake-ass things come up... I just hate how many people think they're legit... which is to say most.

Plus... wow... really annoying screaming... and definitely not too hot for him...

Somebody should make a video where the german keyboard smashing kid is dating this chick... Just a vid where a couple constantly totally loses their cool to such a ridiculous extent over non-events... going nuts, screaming and smashing crap everywhere... then calm down... until the next over-reaction... (for example)... "YOU'RE OUT OF F*CKING CATCHUP!!!! WHAAAAATTTTT????"

*smash goes the cash register*

Er... wait a minute... that actually happened.

Yeah, fake.

First, it´s not very likely, that somebody sets up a camera to tape himself and the gal playing a lame video game.

Second, in that "mood", she would have grabbed the knife in the foreground and cut off his head.

Well I think as an average viewer, audiences expect things to be black and white when it comes to what's real and what's not. Something is real, so they want it to be real. Something is clearly fiction, and they're okay with what happens.

With Documentaries, they've been staged for a long time, but the audience never realized it. Then come along these reality tv shows, which are clearly faked, but give no indication that they're stagged. They go out of their way to seem and feel real. But now we have these viral videos. They're clearly stagged, and some people will call on it, but there will always be those people who see in black and white, and see this as real. I think it's just the way this is set up. Nothing (except maybe the URL, which isn't a dead giveaway) screams that this is fiction. It's whole purpose is to seem real.

Now to us, filmmakers, will see the rule of thirds, the over top acting, the unplugged xbox, and the obviously blocking... but most people don't.

I just hate these videos in general. They try to appear real, but obviously aren't. The WHOLE PURPOSE is to seem real. It's to trick people. Like the office freak-out viral video made for the film Wanted. If it's not meant to be real then why not make it appear as fiction?
