DIDN'T KNOW WHERE TO POST Mac(Book) Pro updated

[AuditoryVisuals]

The Mac Pro can now have 4 750GB bays. In total up to 3TBs of storage. Also, the MacBook Pro has a Core 2 duo processor (finally) clocked at 2.33GHz and can have 3GBs of RAM.

EDIT: I guess the Mac Pro news is old... Heh heh.

The Mac Pro can actually cater for 6 SATA connections + 2 ATA. (there are 2 unused & undocumented SATA ports on the mainboard)
So you could have an ATA as your boot disk, have 4x 750 internally set up as a raid and 2 external.

I dunno what this port multiplication trick is doing - But if it means that you could put more than one drive on each SATA bus, you could pu 4 each on the last two ports to max out throughput. That'd give you a nice 9 TB RAID before you'd have to buy an XRAID.

Boot from an ATA disk in the 2nd DVD slot...
