Have you noticed how Minnesota is anti panasonic, and pro canon and sony... I went to National Camera the other day and they were pressuring this poor sucker to buy an XL2... this was a guy that just wanted to shoot family events - no need for any real 16:9 or real long telephoto...

My production partner has shot many times in the Twin Cities (He lives in St Paul). THe director he workd with uses the DVX all the time.

THis is a not a DIS on anyone here that actaully goes to Wal Mart in having no other other alternative store; in my neighborhood; there's a Target (Pronounced TAR ZSHAY') and Wal MArt across the street and the people that go there SCARE me. Jeez.

Good to hear. Obviously everyone isn't ignorant of the technology, but most of the people shooting around here are unwilling to look beyond their XL1s.
