Did you stop smoking? Did you gain weight? Well...............

That is a myth

I quit for 2 years; I am sure many natives remember.

The gain is temporary.

The body takes a few days to metabolize, or adjust to the lack of suppressant and then it goes back too normal.

Most smokers are not active people. They also tend too have gnarly diets; in my experience.

My body was normalized within a week; and I ended up getting in the best shape of my life. Then she cheated on me and self deprecation took over.

:O

Stimulants already suppress appetites and nicotine is a stimulant. Seems like overkill.

And yeah, when I smoked, it was necessary to consume large amounts of coffee, pizza, omelets, burgers, and beer. It all makes the cigarettes even more enjoyable. No one looks forward to a smoke after a salad.

I quit 10 years ago and weigh less now than I did when I smoked. Of course, one must minus the weight of one lung.

Bad joke?
