Did you purchase an extended warranty?

i'm debating whether it is worth purchasing a 3rd party warranty, in addition to the dvx. also was wondering up to how long from date of purchase can one buy a 3rd party warranty? thanks!

I feel more comfortable having an addtional 2 years on top of the standard Pani warranty.

Sucks, if something did go wrong that I'd have to send it to the East coast :P

If you have to use it even once it will more than pay for the cost of the extended warranty. Repairs are very expensive.

I highly recommend it as well..

EVS has the 4yr extended for $165. No brainer for me.

I believe the 2yr extended is $99

EVS price for DVXusers: $165 for the 4 yr., and $95 for the 2 yr. Thanks Andrew!

does mack require purchasing the warranty where the camera was purchased or does this not matter? also, up to how long from the time of purchase of the dvx can one purchase an extended warranty? thanks...
