Did they use Greenscreen here?

That'd really be a waste of time in editing. Better idea for a white background like that would be a white sheet. Then just throw soooooo much light on it till its really overexposed (but the talent is properly exposed). White balance to your blown out background.
 
I agree, that's a basic white cyc lit separately from the foreground elements several stops higher so all details is lost. Then controlled in post via color correction.
