New to this forum... Generally hanging out in the FCP forum.
I'm doing a short animated sequence for my short film. I'm not the animator myself. We're doing a morph from camera footage into animation. What I did is I took the source video from my Final Cut Pro scratch disk and sent that to the animator to work with. Problem is, I think because it's raw captured footage, it has a rectangular pixel aspect ratio since it wasn't exported out of Final Cut. Should I have exported out the footage instead?
Problem is, he's already grabbed elements from the source video and animated them. So if the aspect ratio is off, so are the elements. Eventually, the animation files need to be brought back into Final Cut for the final mix, so will he then render me out a rectangular par'd image anyways.
As you can see, I'm a little confused. Any help is greatly appreciated.
