Did I buy the WRONG tapes?

so I have a shoot tonight, and just found out about it kind of last minute. I just ran up to Best Buy to get some tapes and I bought the Panasonic AY-DVM80XJ tapes. They say "Professional" on the cover. But once i got home, I realized the tapes hold 80 minutes worth of video in SP mode.

For some reason i think i remember being told to stay away from any tape that is longer than 60 minutes in SP mode. Should I take these back or is it safe to use them in the DVX ???????????
 
I'd take them back. It's true, the 80min tapes are physically thinner and can get jammed in your tape transport easier than 60min tapes.
 
And while you add it, I'd order some MQ tapes from B&H get a box full so you won't have to run to best buy again, and make sure you stick with one kind of tape. And EVS offers DVX discount bunders so go there also.
