don't know if there are any baseball fans out there, but that sox-angels game was crazy. There are people who say that the catcher conclusively caught the ball. But, being the video nerd that I am, I examined it frame by frame, and what you see, since the ball was going so fast, is that there's a moment between frames where the ball disappears, yet in that moment the ball goes from being at the bottom of his mit, to the middle, giving me no doubt that the ball hit the ground.

your opinion?

It wasn't the catch that I have a question about, it's the umps call. He was called out then not. WTF? Of course I am rooting for the Sox so I liked the call.
 
It seemed like the umpire should've done a better job being clear about his call. It's not like this was a spring training game where no one really gives a ****.
