Dictaphone with Speech Recognition

ok completely random and off topic but i'm having a hard time trying to answer this question.....

does anyone know if there is available, at a consumer level, a dictaphone - or any device that could be used to record audio - that can also convert, a la speech recognition software, your words into text?

eg. you record yourself talking into it, connect it to your computer and have the capability of exporting a word or text document.

thus you can skip the stage of taking the audio file and converting it with a separate piece of software.

so far i can only find one such product but it's aimed at the medical market. i just want something for the consumer market.

thanks to anyone who can help.

Dragon Natually Speaking by Nuance claims it can.

I use it for voice to text on my computer with farily decent success.

I haven't tried the voice recorder import/convert to text option though.

errr.... ok thanks.... but i don't think you read my post correctly.... i know there's software that can convert voice to text (and speakwrite is a pay service, btw, so out of the question).... what i'm wondering is if you can get a DICTAPHONE ie. a little plastic box you talk into, that can also convert it into text.... don't wanna sound ungrateful, i do appreciate the replies....

...i'm just trying to figure out if i can skip the dump-to-computer-run-through-conversion-program step....
