people might have asked this many times,but i am not able figure it out which mic to buy.I decided to buy H4n for sound.I want to record dialog by booming above and it has 30% indoors B&C (house in a village in india ),so it's not completely enclosed, looks like
A)<=>( B)<=>( C)<=>( D
outdoors A & D 60% ,10% i need to have out side,but there is no traffic /plane/train,normal wind be there @2-4mph with engine/motor sound .possiblity of theartical release is more.
Shooting DSLR t2i and mark II.Quality is first considering upto 500$ i can relax,ready to push few more bucks if its going to make significant diff.
Thank you for your support,i hope to contribute more for this forum

The indoors/outdoors issue is not really one of whether the space is enclosed or not. The important factor is how reflective the environmnet might be. Shotgun mics are good in environments where there's not much indirect sound and hypercardioids are better in situations acoustically "live" situations with a lot of reflected sound getting to the mic. Usually this correspends to indoors versus out but that's only a typical case ... indoors in a thatched hut there won't be many reflections but outdoors up next to a brick building standing on a paved roadway there would be a lot

Thank you steve for clearing stereotype of indoors/outdoors,Can you please recommend some shotgun which will be idle for theoretical release

+ 1 on the NTG-3. It's a clone of the MKH-416, and will be the closest to your extremely low budget of 500.00.
