Device Disconnected

My 370 doesn't stay connected to my mac to ingest into FCP. I get the error below.

"Device Disconnected"

"The device was disconnected. A partially ingested clip was created."

It mounts find on the desktop and then after a few random minutes, it disconnects. What did I do wrong?
