I can't remember where I heard this, but I was under the impression that consumer to prosumer printers had a heck of a time reproducing blue. Recently, a branch logo was created by a marketing professional who no longer works here.
Our HP Color LaserJet 5500 is leaving blue streaks and of course that logo is on most of our documents. We've spent about $600 on professional cleaning, ink replacement, and fuser replacement.
What color values should I avoid for print? Is there a print-safe option, like the web-safe option?
Here's the color value for the blue in the logo:
CYMK: 100, 80.78, 28.63, 13.33
RGB: 7, 66, 117
