Describing costumes in your script

I'm doing my first script revision and I have a character in costume at a convention described like this..

"Robert is dressed as THE GREEN GOBLIN from the comic book series THE AMAZING SPIDER-MAN".

Based on some feedback I've gotten, I was suggested to describe what the Green Goblin costume looks like for readers who don't know. How would I go about doing this? Should I go into extreme detail or just enough for the reader to understand?
