dennis brevis question

That's correct...CF3 is a max diffusion option (meaning very shallow depth of field) and depending on background, you really should use lenses faster then f2.8 with it. CF2 or CF2Le have much more aperture range. When using CF3 or CF3Le, a little tip is to increase the MP.1's oscillation as much as possible using our image tuning guide, or page 11 of the printed manual. It's externally adjustable, and takes seconds to change...the internal microprocessor handles the rest :-)

hey dennis on this website you said for a cf3 you need to increase oscillation speed on the brevis. but on the cinevate website you said you shouldnt have to change a thing. which one is correct?

You shouldn't if it's already tested and max'd for your chosen shutter speed. That said, it's always good to run a quick test when switching these things around.
