Denecke TC-1 Time Code Reader with PAL

Puzzling question for the audio gurus.

Would a Denecke TC-1 Time Code Reader work in the PAL land?

From specs, it is said to generate 60Hz sync pulse from either 24 or 30fps time code.
I assume that wouldn't work with 25fps/50Hz PAL stuff. Am I correct? Is there any work around or you have to buy PAL-specific time code equipment?

why do you need reader only ?
very limitting ,
you will not be able to jam it and use only with cable or reciever

as it only the reader it would read any tc which comes to the salte .

I agree with you in principle. But I'd pay less than $40 for it.
A good bargain even just for playing if it works with Pal.
