Demo Reel: looking for feedback

Just finished my first serious edit of my demo reel. Please excuse some of the windowed footage, that was SD transfer, and everything else is HD, I'm working on sorting that out.

I appreciate any comments/suggestions/criticism.

very good...nice lighting. overall the pace was great. i have a couple of notes

1) I didn't think the kitchen stuff was your best work (kitchen's never tend to look great)...and wonder whether that should be in the first two/three shots of your reel?

2) The beer shot...feels like it belongs in a commercial reel and as there is nothing else like it in the reel I would think about cutting it.

3) The shot crossing the door (No 5 on the door)...not a great shot and at this point in the reel it stands out a little as it is surrounded by some great work.

Hope it helps!!!

I just cut mine the other day...if you fancy, have a look and give me some feedback

Not bad. You have some low contrast stuff in there, like mentioned before, that I would consider removing, like the kitchen material, and the some of the rap video.

I had 9 cuts of my reel before I got it to where it is now, and it could still use tweaks!

Thanks guys for the feedback.

I definitely agree about the beer shot, it's gonna go. And the man standing at the door, the camera move isn't that good so it'll will likely get axed.
The Kitchen stuff I agree is lower in contrast, I think I was pleased with the composition of at least the 2nd shot more than anything, but your probably right it isn't strong enough to stand on its own, especially at the start of the reel.

Thanks again all.

Cheers
