Dell laptop suitability for DVRack?

Hi everyone,

Can anyone tell me if the Inspiron B120 (http://configure.us.dell.com/dellstore/config.aspx?c=us&cs=19&l=en&oc=B120MIR&s=dhs) is suitable for use with DVRack? I can't tell if this has a FireWire port, and I don't know if the Intel® Graphics Media Accelerator 900 graphics card is compatible.

Any suggestions?

Funny! Aside from not being cutting edge, those series are pretty darn solid.

STOP! i bought a inspiron 8500 with everything maxed out for the best DV standards. Sure it works great until an hour later, when your laptop overheats. I would not recommend getting a laptop. I cannot sit it on my lap or move it anywhere off my desk because it gets soooooo hot. I use vegas 6.0, external harddrive and have over 1gig of memory and it's such a pain to use because rendering and editing creates so much heat that the computer slows waaay down. I've already fried one motherboard from editing and this is only a 2 year old laptop.

Latitude laptops are more robust then Inspiron laptops. Think of Inspiron as consumber level, Latitude has professional level.
