DELL Inspiron E1705 Cable Question

I have a Dell Inspiron E1705 laptop. As for lines in, it has an S-Video and a DVI (Digital Video Interface) connection.

And here is my question, the HCX200 has an A
PLP2 D4 connector out, that carries the component out signal. Does anyone have a cable (and where to find one) would have the D4 out from the HVX200 and a DVI connector in. I am assuming this is what I should be trying to connect up between the two. Any advice appreciated.

Is the DVI an Input and Output? I have never tried to capture through a DVI port. Are you just wanting to dispay the video out of the camera?

Here is my thinking, perhaps flawed: The laptop has a solid video card in it and is capable of hi-res. It has a DVI interface I have used S-Video before and know that it gives me an image, but not in the hi-ress we are talking about with the HVX. I am looking for the best resolution I can get on that laptop, so that I can more-or-less use it as a monitor.

I have a little 16x9 7" LCD monitor and that gives me some idea of what the camera is seeing. Now I want to get the best image I can, hopefully using equipment I already own, like the laptop.

How are the rest of you using the HVX200 as relates to an external monitor, to give you the best idea of what the camera is looking at?
