Dolby, thanks for the tip. I was seriously considering it but DELL is saying the coupon is expired. I have a beautiful AG-Neovo 19" E-19A monitor. I'd even be willing to part with it to make room for this 24 incher. I was just curious...how do you find out about these coupons? I will have to keep my eyes open.

Sorry you missed it.

I usually check http://bensbargains.net/ for deals like this every few days. The sad part is that they do not last very long.

Give it time, it will be back on sale soon. I got luck and got 3 Dell SC420's for $235 each last year. Since then I have kept looking on bensbargains.net/

24" Dell 779 shipped til 10/29

The monitor is still on sale....the coupon works in the cart and expires on 10/29

24in LCD (24”) flat panel 12ms response, 1920x1200, 1000:1 contrast, DVI Code: 69$8KC79D53S2H Exp 10/29 5:59am CT or after 4000 uses - Was $1199 - Now $779.35 shipped free.

I just bought one of these on E-bay for $750, and there were quite a few vendors selling them at that price range.

It's an awesome monitor, and absolutely fabulous for editing video on. I'll never go back to a square monitor again. The extra width is far more useful than the space gained by upsizing a traditional "square" monitor.

The color is fabulous and rich, but you'll need to adjust the gamma a bit. It's fast enough to play games on too.

Definately a winner.
