Unless specified otherwise, projects are, by default, stored here:
Username->Documents->Final Cut Pro Documents->Capture Scratch, Render Files, others. . .
You could individually delete the project folder from the various subfolders within FCP docs.
Is there a different way?

Find the file and drag it to the trash then empty the trash.
